Quarto steel plates in structural grades S235, S275, S355, HARDOX and COR-TEN. Black, pickled and bright plates for heavy fabrication and special applications.
Quarto plate is a steel plate produced by reversing hot rolling on a plate mill that works the slab in back-and-forth passes. It is supplied in flat sheets rather than coils. Ideal for heavy fabrication, shipbuilding and infrastructure, it guarantees high mechanical strength.
We supply plates for the widest range of uses:
Structural steels (EN 10025-2): for civil construction, industrial plants and machinery. Available in grades S275 and S355
Wear-resistant steels: ideal wherever resistance to abrasion, mechanical wear and impact is required. We carry only the best brands, first and foremost SSAB Hardox.
Corrosion-resistant steels (EN-10025-5): steel whose alloying elements make it particularly resistant to atmospheric corrosion. Available in grades S355JOWP, S355JOW, S355J2W+N.
High-strength structural steels (EN 10025-6): thermomechanical, micro-alloyed, low-carbon steel, particularly suited to cold forming. Available in grades S690 QL / S890QL / S960QL and as SSAB Strenx 650, Strenx 700, Strenx 900, Strenx 960, Strenx 1100.
Boiler and pressure vessel steels (EN 10028-3): available in grades P265, P275 NH, P355 NH, P355 NL 1-2.
